Jocelyn Haslett

Singer/rapper, Jocelyn, was born and raised in Spokane, WA, and has nurtured a deep-seated passion for music since the age of six. What began as a childhood love blossomed into a creative pursuit in middle school, where she began utilizing poetry and a dictionary to craft her own sounds, focusing on intricate wordplay and authentic emotional expression.

Jocelyn's artistry is defined by its versatility, mirroring her expansive musical taste. She draws inspiration from a vast array of genres- including R&B, rap, hip-hop, jazz, blues, reggae, indie, and folk- refusing to limit her sound to a single category. Her eclectic infuences inclue Jill Scott, Erykah Badu, Rising Appalachia, Masego, J. Cole, and Cleo Sol, whose unique pieces have profoundly touched her journey. With a desire to create music that is as versatile as her inspirations, Jocelyn has no rigid end goal, aiming instead to share music she cares deeply about with people who will appreciate and enjoy it just as much as she does.
