B1G Honcho
B1g Honcho is from the island of Galveston, Texas. A standout athlete and artist, he had turned down a contract with Ruff Ryders as a high school senior to pursue D1 college football. While he spent years dominating on the field, he never stayed out of the studio. As his football career drew to a close, he fully stepped into his identity as B1G Honcho and returned to the booth with a vengeance. During this time, he met his producer and close friend Jay Santiago of Tha Project, formerly known as Next Generation Music, and together they began crafting his signature sound.
Honcho's career reached a turning point when he opened for Guerrilla Black, a performance that caught the interest of Kingmullah Ent. After a brief hiatus to navigate personal growth and dedicate time to his twin girls, B1G Honcho is officially back. He states he "is blessed to be reunited with Kingmullah Ent. and Tha Project."
